Plan the website and the work behind it

A company website needs to explain your offer and make relevant information easy to find. It also needs to work for the person updating it. We consider both visitors’ needs and your everyday editing tasks.

WordPress brings pages, posts and media together in an administration area. I adapt the structure to your content, such as services, cases, team profiles or articles. We agree which fields and sections you need to edit yourself.

Design and editing are separate decisions. We can use the WordPress block editor or work with an existing setup. If you already use Astra or Elementor, for example, I review the site before recommending what to retain.

The agreement defines design, content setup, mobile layouts, testing and training. Hosting, theme and plugin licences, and ongoing maintenance are described separately so you know what happens after launch.

Jonas helped me set up my website and marketing strategy and has been essential for growing my business online. I’ve also had invaluable help automating many processes.
Frank
Jonas built my website from scratch and tailored it to my audience. With limited web knowledge myself, that was a huge help. I highly recommend his work.
Mads Jørgensen
Jonas was key to Kurvemageren’s move online. His ability to understand our situation and tailor solutions that reflect our heritage and vision has been impressive.

For businesses that want to keep content current

A new service, an updated team or a recent project should not require a full development project. We decide early which tasks you want to manage internally and which will need help.

I am based in Copenhagen and work with businesses across Denmark. Scoping, feedback and training can take place online. You work directly with me from the first review through handover.

Questions about WordPress websites

Frequently asked questions

How much does a WordPress website cost?

My rate is DKK 650/hour excl. VAT. A straightforward company site has an indicative range of DKK 15,000–30,000 excl. VAT. A shop, more page types or integrations can increase the scope. You receive a quote after scoping; hosting, licences and other external costs are separate.

Can I change copy and images myself?

Yes, within the agreed content areas. We build editing around your tasks and practise them at handover. Changes to design, code or integrations may still require development work.

Should I use the block editor or a page builder?

We choose around content, design and maintenance. If you already use an editor, we review it first. The setup needs to support your editing tasks; a particular tool does not guarantee performance or search rankings.

How long does a project take?

A simple company site can take around 2–4 weeks; larger solutions can take 1–3 months. We agree timing based on scope, availability, content, access and approvals.

Can the site include WooCommerce?

Yes. A webshop can be included or planned as a later phase. We review products, payments, shipping and order handling, then define the necessary connections and licences.

Who manages the domain and hosting?

As a rule, you set up the contracts in your business’s name and retain access. I can help choose, configure or migrate hosting within the agreed task. Hosting is a separate cost.

Is SEO included?

We agree the technical and content foundations, such as page titles, descriptions, headings and relevant URLs. Keyword research, new copy and ongoing SEO need to be specified in the quote. WordPress alone does not guarantee visibility.

What does the site need after launch?

Content needs updating, and someone must own backups, software updates and functional checks. I can help hourly or through prepaid hours. Hosting and ongoing support are not automatically included in the build price.

How do we get started?

Send a short description of the business, the pages you need and who will edit them. Mention any existing site or material. We can discuss the project online wherever you work in Denmark.

Describe the pages you need

Tell me what the business offers and which information customers need to find. Mention how often content changes and who will maintain it.

If you already use WordPress, a focused improvement may be enough. I review the existing setup before we decide whether you need a new site, a redesign or help with particular tasks.

Tell me about your website

Let’s clarify the next step

Describe what you need the website to do and who will use it.

Send the current URL if you have one, and mention any design or content material already prepared.
