You may be entering the same information in several systems, handling bookings manually or struggling to give colleagues a shared overview. We examine one real workflow from start to finish and identify where a tool could help.
Custom development can be appropriate when existing software cannot handle the agreed task with a reasonable adjustment. We compare a new build with the tools you already use and consider development, subscriptions, maintenance and future changes.
The first version can be a single tool or integration. We define who will use it, what information it handles and how we will check that it works. That gives you a more useful basis for prioritising functions and assessing the estimate.

When is custom software worth considering?
We compare how often the task occurs, the time it takes and the consequences of errors with development and maintenance costs. Adjusting an existing tool may be enough. Any expected saving should be based on your actual workflow.
How much does custom development cost?
My rate is DKK 650/hour excl. VAT. Total cost depends on functions, integrations, user roles and testing. You receive an estimate for a defined scope. Hosting, licences and other external costs are separate.
Can you integrate our existing systems?
We check feasibility before development, including access and options for APIs, webhooks or data imports and exports. We agree which system is the main source and how transfer errors should be handled.
Can you extend an existing website or codebase?
Yes, after an initial review. The solution might be a WordPress extension, a separate web app or a data connection. Technology is chosen around requirements and future maintenance.
Do you sign an NDA?
Yes, when the project requires it. We can agree a confidentiality agreement before sharing confidential project material.
Who owns the code?
Custom code is typically yours after payment, subject to the project agreement. We document ownership, third-party licences and repository handover so you know what is included.
How are access and maintenance handled?
We agree user roles, hosting, backups, updates and operational responsibilities. Requirements for the information being processed need to be defined. Where possible, test examples do not contain sensitive information.
How long does development take?
A small first version can take a few weeks; additional functions or integrations need more time. We agree milestones after scoping, including access, content, testing and feedback.
Do you provide ongoing support?
Yes. Maintenance, fixes and new functions can be agreed on an hourly or prepaid basis. Handover includes a review of the agreed solution and its documentation.
